Pet wellness report
YuMOVE is best known for their dog joint care supplements, but their range goes much further — covering digestive health, dental care, calming support, skin and coat care, and vitamins too. The challenge was helping existing customers discover products that could genuinely benefit their pet, without it feeling like a push to buy. The pet wellness quiz and report was the answer.
Helping owners understand their pet’s overall wellness
Pet owners turn to YuMOVE throughout their dog's life, so it made sense to build a tool that could grow with them. The wellness quiz could be completed at any life stage, adding to the personalised experience users had come to expect from the brand — and giving YuMOVE a meaningful way to highlight products at the right moment, for the right pet.
Consulting with subject matter experts
Shaping the quiz content wasn't something we could do in isolation. I worked closely with YuMOVE's in-house veterinary and product teams throughout, developing a content matrix that brought together pet age brackets, breed proneness, product suitability, and content formats. We layered in analytics from the live site too, using real purchase patterns to make sure our recommendations were grounded in how customers actually behaved.
Making personalised recommendations
The quiz was designed to feel more like a conversation than a form. Results were matched to products based on the combination of a pet's age, breed, and the health areas flagged during the quiz — so a seven-year-old Labrador would get very different recommendations to a two-year-old Whippet. To keep things engaging along the way, we interspersed the questions with interstitial pages sharing tailored facts about the dog's breed and life stage, giving owners something genuinely interesting to read while building towards their results.
A report owners can return to
Stored in their profile and ready to revisit as their pet grows
Once completed, the wellness quiz generates a personalised report that lives within the owner's profile — there whenever they need it. The report gives a detailed picture of their pet's health, including conditions their breed may be prone to and the products best placed to support their wellbeing at that stage of life. Because dogs change as they age, owners are encouraged to retake the quiz over time, keeping their report relevant and their pet's care on track.
